Cherry tomatoes sit atop baked crostini and pesto, and/or chevre. Garnished with basil. Great appetizer.
SERVES: 12
PREP TIME: 10 Minutes
COOK TIME: 12 Minutes
Ingredients

1 Baguette
Olive Oil
Pesto
Chevre
1 pint Cherry Tomatoes or other "smallish" tomatoes in season.

Directions
Step 1  Crostini:
Slice bread into 1/2 inch slices. Brush with olive oil and arrange on baking sheet. Lightly toast in 450 degree F. oven for 5-6 minutes or until bread begins to lightly brown. Take the bread out of the oven, spread with your choice of Pesto or Chevre or both! Top with 2-3 slices of cherry tomatoes and garnish with fresh basil. Serve.

Note: These appetizers can be made with Zebra tomatoes (pictured) or other varieties when they are in season.
