2 8-oz sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 cups (5 ounces) grated Parmesan
1 tablespoon poppy or sesame seeds (optional)

Step 1  Step 1:
Heat oven to 400 F.
Step 2  Step 2:
Cut the puff pastry lengthwise into 24 strips.
Step 3  Step 3:
Brush with the egg and sprinkle with the Parmesan and poppy or sesame seeds, if using.
Step 4  Step 4:
Using your fingers twist the strips of dough and place on 2 baking sheets.
Step 5  Step 5:
Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.
